A Little Crafty... Postage Stamp Onesies

This is a fun project, because they comes together so easily. I have made onesies, but I have also made cute Spring t-shirts.
I ordered my printable fabric online a year ago, but recently I have seen it in craft stores. You can find fun and free images from many sources, the ones I used were from here (baby books), here (flowers), and here (bird's nest.)Print images onto fabric following the directions on the package. My fabric need to sit and then soak in water first. While it soaks, cut a piece of paper-backed fusible web a little bigger than the image.
Once it is ready, iron fusible web to back of printer fabric and cut out image using pinking shears to make it look like a stamp. Iron to onesie or t-shirt. Hand or machine sew around edge of image and you're done.

Such a cute idea!! I went to the website with the books and the PDF didn't work. Any tips there to get those images? Thanks!!

Thanks Deb. I tried the PDF again and you're right I could get it to work either. I would try right-clicking on the image and select open in a new window. This should give you an image large enough for printing. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Is the ink just your basic printer ink? Do the colors run when you wash the clothes? Thanks.

Yeah, I just use an inkjet printer. And so far I haven't had any problems. Now, there is some slight fading when I first soak the fabric, but it still looks great. Just be sure to follow the directions on you printable fabric.

So sweet! I just love the vintage baby book graphics on these. They'll be the perfect gift for a baby shower I'm going to. Thanks for posting it!
