A Little Crafty...A Spring Sign

I started out with a piece of 7x9 inch wood I picked up from the scrap bin at Home Depot.

I painted it Americana Cadmium Yellow.

I also white washed it a bit with some watered down white paint.  I ordered some SPRING vinyl from Utah Vinyl.

I added the vinyl and then sanded down all the edges.  I put a little stain on a paper towel and then wiped it on.

See how the sanded edges pick up the stain.

I wanted to jazz up my sign a bit so I grabbed a little scrapbook paper, gerber daisy stickers, yellow ribbon, and some Mod Podge.

I attached the paper with the Mod Podge, tied a ribbon around it and added the stickers.
